Hi, I'm Jarad.
I was a Melbourne based Manager of Marketing, Membership & Communications for a non-profit Association. For over six years, I kept locksmiths in-check, informed and in-business.
I'm currently working part time with ECAL - a calendar marketing platform where I'm involved in web management, content production, visual production and account management, along with involvement with my own small web & creative services business Eve Concepts.
I have been employed in marketing, communication, web & internet based roles, held web-based management positions in Government and non-profit sectors whilst continuing to learn & improve my skillset in creative services away from the workplace.
I have a strong interest in technology, web design, social media, creative services & sport! I'm always keen to learn about new tools, design elements, trends and programs to improve my capabilities. I have a broad skillset, that's just not limited to being creative. I can manage small or large teams and confident in a wide range of business practices.

Marketing responsibility added to current management portfolio with a focus on creatively maximising exposure of the MLA brand (both traditionally & digitally), products and member locksmith services to the public.
Implemented social media presence for the Association on Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn to assist in communication of key messages to members, trade partners & community.
Creation of Lockey Smith - the public face of the Association and who 'communicates' with members and the public.
Management and execution of the Association's Apprentice of the Year Award. This award is held across Australia and New Zealand for eligible apprentices.
MLA website - #1 locksmith website with search function
Achieved first page google ranking and 137,798 page views for 2015
Development and use of video to further promote the MLA and services of its members.
Employed to advance the Association in a number of key areas including communication, membership management & engagement, event management and Internet Technology. A small team of two allows for hands on involvement in a number of areas including finance management, events, design, product development, delivery of training, branch meetings & more.
Oversaw redesign & implementation of new public and member only websites providing members and the public with improved locksmith search facility, information, database, online payment gateway & resource library.
Implemented electronic methods to communicate with members, trade partners & key stakeholders (MLA e-news). 50% average open rate across all member e-news campaigns.
Improved & expanded member services and delivery along with the recreation of the MLA database and how we capture information
Successfully promoted, organised and delivered conferences on the Gold Coast, Tasmania, Adelaide, Rotorua (x 2), Wellington & Sunshine Coast (x2). This also includes presenting training sessions on Marketing, Social Media and Information Technology.
Promoted to Internet Manager with increased responsibility and ownership of the Departments external website along with providing assistance and expertise to additional Government Departments when required.
Review and restructure of website content and information architecture.
Design and population of new Climate Change website.
Implemented the live coverage of events online, including live video streaming and live chat / blogging.
Responsible for the coordination and management of the Departments external website. The website contained over 3000 pages with divisions across the department responsible for the creation of content.

Track and record statistical information (SEO) to improve functionality and usability of site.
